There are two approaches I take when helping clients manage their body pain. First, through massage therapy and muscle manipulation, I treat and sooth the pain. I use various techniques and tools to release muscles that are effected. Second, I narrow down the cause of the pain through assessments - usually their are restrictions in the connective tissue that cause the pain. Our bodies adapt and compensate for the restrictions, and this is what causes pain. The muscle imbalances, postural disturbances, etc. Through the second approach, we work together in the fitness area of the clinic to stretch, and strengthen areas to re-balance the body, and have the client pain free for longer periods of time.
